Once you become a member of the Raptors Racing Club, you can lease a racehorse. The leasing cost typically covers the daily ongoing of the horse (such as spelling, training, veterinary care, etc.). Members are not required to pay additional fees to purchase the horse. Therefore, leasing a horse as a member is equivalent to having the right to use the racehorse (including receiving a share of the prize money won by the horse), but it does not equate to owning a share of the horse
