Champion 3YO Miler in France in 2019. 5 wins-1 at 2-1m to 1¼m, Royal Ascot St James’s Palace S., Gr.1, Queen Anne S., Gr.1, ParisLongchamp Prix du Moulin de Longchamp, Gr.1, 2d Breeders’ Cup Mile, Gr.1. Out of SW Duntle. His oldest SH-bred progeny are 2YOs. His NH-bred progeny inc Alerta Maxima and of the placegetters Green Storm, Now, etc.
A champion miler and triple Gr.1 winner CIRCUS MAXIMUS displayed Gr.1 form as a two-year-old, training on to beat the best of his generation at three in the Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot over a mile. He franked this form in the autumn of his three-year-old season against older horses when winning the Gr.1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp over a mile. At four, CIRCUS MAXIMUS was successful again at Royal Ascot in the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes over a mile joining champion FRANKEL as a son of breeding colossus GALILEO to have won both these prestigious Royal Ascot races. Circus Maximus is the only foal of his dam DUNTLE, first past the post in the Gr.1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown and like her son, a dual stakes winner over a mile at Royal Ascot.
